Huawei, Oki Partner to Develop Mobile WiMAX Market in Japan

Chinese Huawei and Japanese Oki Electric Industry have announced to commence cooperation on developing mobile WiMAX business in Japan. Oki will be in charge of marketing and maintaining Huawei's mobile WiMAX products in Japan and act as the intermediary between customers and Huawei. Huawei will provide customized WiMAX terminals, base stations, and base station controllers according to customer feedback relayed by Oki.
